The project explores the mosque as part of the wider village ecosystem, combining spiritual space with community-oriented functions and environmentally responsive design.
The aim is to create a building that supports worship, gathering, and everyday local needs while remaining simple, efficient, and adaptable.

DESIGN APPROACH
Architecture shaped by climate and community.
The building form is developed around passive environmental strategies, clear circulation, and a strong relationship between prayer spaces, supporting functions, and outdoor areas.
The architecture uses simple massing and controlled openings to create a calm, dignified character while responding to local climate conditions.
Natural ventilation, rainwater collection, daylight, orientation, and the roof form are used to improve environmental comfort and reduce dependence on mechanical systems where possible.

The mosque is conceived as a broader community resource, with supporting spaces that can contribute to local activity, social interaction, and productive uses around the building.
